yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind. but it was nice to have thanksgiving with family, which we haven't been able to do for the last 3 years. we visited caroline in the morning (took her some pumpkins), amidst the leaves and chilly wind.

i did make pies but i forgot to take pictures. they weren't really anything too spectacular.
all in all, it was a nice, mostly relaxing day. i have lots to be thankful for.
